Up Next: 2026.06.24 – Tips for Evaluating your Training – Rhonda Reigers Powell, Clemson University

Speaker Bio: Rhonda is the Research Lab Manager at the Clemson Light Imaging Facility. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in Engineering and Science Education. Her research explores different aspects of light microscopy education, including what motivates graduate students to consider digital imaging ethics principles in their research and how short workshops contribute to microscopy self-efficacy. She also teaches a pedagogy course each Fall with Dr. Sylvie Le Guyader called “Magnify Your Impact: Train the Microscopy Trainer.”

Talk Abstract: Feedback helps you improve your training, but you might not know where to start! In this community conversation, I’ll share some tips for evaluating your own training. I’ll also share some examples of how to review and incorporate suggestions from your trainees.
