Michael (Mike) W. Davidson was a highly innovative and multi-talented researcher, who recognized the power of communicating science through images. His work and contributions to the scientific and imaging community have been an inspiration to many members of BioImaging North America (BINA), so it only seemed appropriate that BINA name an award in his honor.
The Richard and Rosaria Haugland Industry Award recognizes outstanding individuals in the bioimaging industry whose work embodies the spirit of Dick and Rosaria Haugland, co-founders of Molecular Probe
BINA is pleased to announce the inaugural Wayne S. Rasband Open Source Imaging Award in recognition of individuals advancing and leading efforts in open source imaging software and/or hardware where the source code or hardware plans are made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. This award is for those who embody the mission and core values of BINA by demonstrating commitment, shared values and broader support of the bioimaging community. Community contributions, in any of the areas of Community, Inclusion, and Excellence are the basis for this award.
BINA is pleased to announce the inaugural Mary Ann Booth Early Career Award in recognition of early career scientists- graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, recent graduates, and emerging professionals within 6 years of post terminal degree, in the bioimaging and bioimage analysis sectors.
