BINA is combining its Professional Development Program and Regional Event Support Program into a single streamlined program- the BINA Event Support Program. This program will provide support for a broad range of events, including training courses and events focused on microscopy techniques, management, leadership or teaching skills, and image data management and analysis, while continuing to foster community engagement.Â
The integration streamlines funding opportunities, reduces administrative complexity, and enables BINA to respond more effectively to the varied ways members learn, collaborate, and engage across North America. Events can include workshops, training courses, regional or national meetings and can be either in-person or virtual.
NOTE: Individual support to attend a specific non-supported event can now be applied for through the BINA Exchange of Experience Program. To avoid duplicate funding, BINA will not provide event support program funding for members to attend events that are already supported by other BINA-funded initiatives. Approved events will be listed on this page for reference.
