Bioimaging networks and imaging scientists accelerate scientific discovery and innovation

Poster Abstract: Advanced bioimaging is essential for discovery in the life and health sciences, particularly in cell dynamics research, but innovation depends as much on imaging scientists and collaborative networks as on infrastructure. Networks such as Canada BioImaging (CBI), BioImaging North America (BINA), and Global BioImaging (GBI) accelerate technology adoption, reproducible research, and equitable access to advanced tools through training, shared expertise, and community building. BINA’s 2,000+ members drive solutions in quality control, data management, and industry engagement, while GBI supports professional development, technology training and exchange of experience of imaging scientists working in core facilities. Together, these networks strengthen global capacity, foster leadership opportunities, and create a connected ecosystem that advances scientific discovery and innovation. The global imaging cell dynamics community is encouraged to get involved, join the community and use the resources to advance their research and careers.
